First Hannover Symposium on Infection Susceptibility

For a better understanding of the fundamental determinants of susceptibility to infectious diseases experts are coming together for the first "Hannover Symposium on Infection Susceptibility" on September 30 and October 1, 2019.

This opening symposium serves to introduce the newly founded Excellence Cluster RESIST and to bring together worldwide leading researchers and clinicians in the field of infection and immunity. The intellectual and interdisciplinary exchange will pave the way for novel international collaborations and, in the long-term, will open new avenues to treat infections in susceptible patients.

This symposium is jointly organized by the Volkswagen Foundation and the Hannover Medical School.

Several Fraunhofer ITEM scientists will participate and will present two posters. Please see below for more details on our contributions.
