Let's dive deep again into the research of lung diseases - this year with a focus on

infection
clinical development
epidemiology
prevention
and drug development of respiratory diseases.

The scientitif programm will be accompanied by poster exhiobition and session, which is open for contribitions. Are you interested in presenting your research work at "Models of Lung Disease 2024"? Then please submit your poster abstract by May 31, 2024.

May 31 also is the deadline for early-bird registration. Register now and join us at "Models of Lung Disease 2024"!

Costs

Early-bird registration until May 31, 2024:
- Participant from academia: 350 EUR
- Participant from industry: 450 EUR

Late registration from June 1, 2024:
- Participant from academia: 400 EUR
- Participant from industry: 500 EUR

Fees include the registration for Models of Lung Disease 2024, coffee breaks, lunch and a barbecue on June 20.

Poster session and exhibition

Would you like to present your research work in our poster exhibition and session? Then, we would be pleased to receiving your abstract! The poster exhibition will be open during the whole event. The poster session will give authors and participants the opportunity for face-to-face- discussions. More information is available here:

How to submit?

Please submit your abstract by e-mail to: lung.ws@item.fraunhofer.de.

Submission deadline: May 31, 2024.

Please note: Abstracts can be accepted only if at least one author of the poster has registered for Models of Lung Disease. Presenting authors are not registered automatically with abstract submission.

Requirements for posters

Maximum size: 1.15 meters (width) by 1.45 meters (height)
Format: portrait (landscape is only possible, if the poster width does not exceed 1.15 meters)
Language: English

Additional information

All poster abstracts will be published in the printed seminar program.
Posters must be mounted before the start of the seminar lectures and be collected at the end of this event. The organizers reserve the right to remove and destroy posters that are not collected in time.

Poster prizes

The best posters presented at Models of Lung Disease 2024 will be awarded.
