During this year’s ERS congress from September 3 to 7, Fraunhofer ITEM scientist Dr. Christina Hesse was awarded a prize. Her abstract entitled "Induction of pro-fibrotic biomarkers in precision-cut lung slices (PCLS)" was selected as "Best Abstract of Young Investigators" in the session "Clinical Assembly".
