GUIDE – Gender Matters: Rethinking Immunity and Disease in the Face of Data Gaps

This event will highlight the role of gender diversity and sociocultural factors in medicine, strategies to promote gender-sensitive research, gender-specific differences in diagnosis and treatment (especially in immune diseases), innovative applications of research results, fairness of AI and overcoming gender bias across disciplines.

In addition to exciting lecture sessions, you will again have the opportunity for interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration, and can share your work with the other participants in a poster presentation.

Would you like to take part in the Fraunhofer CIMD Summer School 2025? Please find further information on the program and the registration on the website of the Fraunhofer CIMD.

Note: All participants are expected to make an active contribution in the form of a five-minute pitch (short talk without PowerPoint presentation) on their own research project. The project presented does not have to be a Fraunhofer CIMD project, but can be any project the participant is working on.
