Integration in Clinical Networks

To address clinical questions, the Regensburg site of Fraunhofer ITEM is integrated in a large number of clinical networks at the regional (Comprehensive Cancer Center of East Bavaria, CCCO), federal (Bavarian Cancer Research Center, BZKF), and national levels (WERA Alliance of Comprehensive Cancer Centers):

Access to a wide range of clinical samples and indication-specific medical expertise
Planning and initialization of translational, multicenter clinical studies

Fraunhofer ITEM therefore acts as a clinically oriented partner for the development of novel personalized therapies and diagnostics from the preclinical to clinical fields.
