We invite you to join us for the 5th edition of our "Alternatives to Animal Testing" workshop to explore currrent developments in this scientific field.

Translational models and their clinical relevance
Beyond conventional approaches: novel concepts and breakthrough ideas

How to Submit an Abstract

Please send your abstract by email to: 3r-workshop@item.fraunhofer.de

Abstract submission deadline: December 8, 2026

Authors will be notified during the first week of January 2027.

Important to know

Abstracts can be accepted only if at least one of the poster authors has registered for the workshop - registration is not done automatically with submission. Poster authors are expected to be present on-site during the poster session.

Poster titles and authors will be published in a list of posters displayed at the event.

Requirements for Posters

Maximum size: 1.15 meters (width) by 1.45 meters (height)
Format: portrait (landscape is possible only if the poster width does not exceed 1.15 meters)
Language: English

Additional Information

Upon your arrival, please contact the registration desk to find out where to display your poster. Please mount your poster before the start of the lectures.
Posters must be collected at the end of the event. The organizers reserve the right to remove and destroy posters that are not collected in time.
