Personalized Tumor Therapy

The division for Personalized Tumor Therapy has a focus on driving research on personalized cancer diagnostic and preclinical drug development in patient-derived models.

We are happy to support you as a reliable partner in the following areas:

For preclinical drug development, we have recently developed a Platform for Ex-Vivo Drug Response Assays (PEDRA). PEDRA can reflect the clinical patient situation in vitro by making use of disease specific models, being generated from clinical samples individually recruited for each project.

We are committed to provide customized solutions for aerosolization and testing of drug candidates including small molecules, recombinant proteins, cell and gene therapies or bacteriophages.

Toxicokinetics of inhaled particles

With our inhouse-knowledge of histopathology, hematology and clinical chemistry, as well as our portfolio in safety pharmacology testing, we provide full preclinical service for translation to clinical phase trials.

Our services

Infection Research and Immunology

We provide disease-relevant, dose-dependent, and reproducible models ranging from patented in-vitro to complex ex-vivo and in-vivo solutions. As such, we are happy to test the efficacy of your lead compound:

Fully immune-competent, all-human ex-vivo models for respiratory viruses, i.e. rhinovirus, RSV, influenza, parainfluenza and SARS-CoV-2
In-vivo models in mouse and cotton rat
Bacterial infection and biofilm models, e.g. Pseudomonas aeruginosa

This expertise is complemented by close in-house interactions with our inhalation experts, enabling efficient nebulization of compounds.
