Symposium on RNA-Based Therapeutics
The potential of RNA technologies for therapeutics is huge as they offer innovative strategies for the precise treatment of conditions such as cancer and viral infections, as well as for the development of personalized therapies. A central topic of this year's two-day symposium is the immense potential of RNA molecules as next-generation therapeutics – extending far beyond the success of mRNA vaccines. RNA-based approaches, particularly antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs), have already made their way into clinical applications. The symposium will provide a current overview of the state of research – from innovative RNA manufacturing techniques to strategies for precise and efficient delivery, including modern delivery systems like nanoparticles.
Beyond that, you can look forward to oral presentations on topics from the research fields
- RNA targets in inflammation and fibrosis
- New drug classes
- Biomarkers and RNomics
- Fraunhofer innovations and industry perspectives
The symposium will also feature a Rapid Fire Session for early-career researchers, offering selected poster authors the opportunity to present their work in a brief oral presentation. Details about the poster session and abstract submission are available here.
We look forward to exploring the present and future of RNA therapeutics with you!
