REACH regulation: Registration of industrial chemicals

The European REACH chemicals regulation no. 1907/2006 obliges manufacturers and importers to register every chemical substance with a production or import volume of more than one tonne per year in the EU. Depending on the manufactured or imported quantity, defined data have to be provided within tonnage-dependent deadlines. For chemicals produced or imported in quantities of more than ten tonnes per year, potential risks to human health and the environment are to be assessed in addition in a chemical safety report (CSR).

In cooperation with our clients, we prepare all documents required for substance registration. Prior to preparing the dossier, we analyze data gaps and search literature databases and other sources for information about the substance in question. Furthermore, we prepare toxicological expert reports and assess risks to human health and the environment also beyond the scope of REACH.
